Zugspitze: The Highest Mountain in Germany

Zugspitze is the highest mountain in Germany at 2,962 meters above sea level. The train ride was only 1 1/2 hours long.  We went to the mountain, but we did not go to the peak because it cost 45 euros to take a train to the top.  So, us being students enjoyed the view from below.  It is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever scene!  I have also never seen water so blue and clear!
